From settings

  1. Go to [Icon] and tap [Sound & Vibration].

  3. Tap [Select from files] > Select the music file to set it as your ringtone.

Note: If you are unable to see any files after selecting “select from files”. It is because there are no supported music files stored on your phone. Make sure the music files are downloaded and stored in your phone storage. It is suggested to use files with the smaller size as ringtones.

From music player

  1. Open [Icon] player.
  2. Tap “” beside the song you want to set the ringtone.
  3. Select [Set as Ringtone] > and select the ringtone category E.g. Alarm, caller ringtone, SMS & contact ringtone. SMS and Contact ringtone is available in ColorOS 5.2 and ColorOS 11 devices only.

Note: If you are unable to see your ringtone file in the music list, then it might be hidden because either it is less than 200kb or less than 60 seconds. You can enable them to appear in the music list by [Music] > Tap music_two_dots_icon or icon at the top right corner > Tap [Scan local songs] > Disable both [Skip songs under 60 secs & Skip songs smaller than 100 KB]. You can also select the folder where your music file is stored by tapping [Scan specified folders].
